Okay...Never Mind

I decided last night that I am not ready for school to start. Carter started 2nd grade today. He wanted me to take him so he could meet his new teacher. I think her name is Mrs. Lion and she is new to this school, so he was a little nervous about not knowing her. I woke Carter up nice and early so he could take a shower and be ready to go. When I paid for his school lunches, he found out that today is corn dogs and a chocolate chip cookie, so he had me take home his peanut butter sandwich I made him this morning. (now I have Rook's lunch ready :)
As Rook and I walked out of the school to the car, I started getting all sad about Carter being in school again. So never mind about my last post...I guess I wasn't all that ready.
I had to post a picture of Rook as I was getting Carter's backpack ready this morning. He wasn't too concerned about Carter leaving for school.

Yes, it is weird to have school back in and have a 2nd grader. Time flies.

You know what? I thought I would be sad but I did okay today. It is weird not having G here though.
Love the picture of Rook! Ha!

What do you mean I think Rookie is really worried about his bro going to school?!?! haha That kid cracks me up!! Carty looks like a cutie... He may come home with a girlfriend, he's just too cute!!

I'd be nervous too if my teacher's name was Mrs. Lion. Although I know a family of Tygers that are really nice.

I feel EXACTALLY the same, I am just sending them both to Provo. I doesn't get any easier. Your boys are the cutest ever, they were so dang cute when they brought Nicole's little gift in. That was nice of you guys.
She loves her little primary class. She is going to miss them!

Carter looks so cute and so grown up. Watch out for the girls .... in a few years hopefully.

2nd grade is so grown up, It is weird to think that we are old enough to have kids in 2nd grade...let alone a 4th grader.

Totally understand, Bobbi!! Carter is sooo cute, weren't we going to set him and McKayla up in about 20 yrs? That should be about right, huh? It looks like Rook was trying to block Carter from going to school-- maybe he felt the same way you do!! Cute boys!!!

Never mind is right. I'll bet the teachers feel the same way.
I hope Mrs. Lion is a nice one!

I think the early mornings would make me almost wanna cry in the mornings. I have a hard enough time talking myself into getting up, but a tired 2nd grader would be so hard/sad!
He looks super cute and stylish on his first day of school! Are those new shoes Carty? They look awesome!
I love Rook laying there! Gives ya a glimpse of what his first day of school will be like!

anyone remember Mrs. Killian?? i think my whole grade was worried about that one! (she was kinda mean sometimes too...) i think that was the year i learned the lesson: be nice to people and they will be nice to you too. no matter how old they are and no matter what their name is.

i'm so excited for ya Cart! this will be a great year! (you look like a hunk.)

Carter is such a little stud! I agree with Erin.....better watch out - you're going to have to swat off the girls (with Rookie too).

I think I know one of the Tygers boys, Aunt Millie. Are they from your old ward in IF? A few years ago we had an elder here and he asked me if I was related to you because I reminded him of you. Kind of funny, hu?
ANYWAY, back to Carter and how awesome he looked for his first day of school!! Hope you loved it. 2nd grade rocks!
